Almost all of our wool products are knitted by hand in Nepal. Only in a few cases is a knitting machine used. Since fair and good working conditions for our producers are extremely important to us, we travel to Nepal ourselves at least once a year. There we order directly from the site and also visit the production facilities where our goods are knitted. It is mainly women who produce our wool products. Because they often have a hard time finding a job in Nepal that also offers fair wages and humane conditions. Personal contact with the local people is particularly important to us in order to ensure that the working conditions meet our ethical standards and can be continuously improved. All production facilities with which we cooperate pay an above-average hourly wage and adhere to the strict guidelines that are adapted to the Fairtrade standards. This not only means that payments are made fairly and on time, but also that any form of discrimination - be it based on gender, caste, nationality or other social differences - is excluded. Of course, it is also impossible for child labor to occur in any of our partner companies.

Through these measures, we help workers and their families lead better lives and benefit from their work in the long term.

We are proud to have been working with our local partners in Nepal for over a decade and to set an example for fair production conditions and sustainable development. Through close partnership and mutual trust, we have managed to build stable and reliable structures that enable us to offer high-quality products under fair conditions. Our cooperation with the Nepalese companies is much more than just a business relationship - it is characterized by respect, appreciation and the common goal of having a positive impact on the local community through fair and ethical production methods.

By making our supply chain transparent and regularly visiting our sites, we can ensure that the standards we set for ourselves are actually met. For us, it is not just an ethical concern, but an obligation to preserve and protect the dignity and rights of the people involved in the production of our goods. This philosophy is reflected in each of our products, which are made by hand with love and care.
